Our Backgrounds
Hi, my name is Malik. I go to Amber Charter School. My favorite subject is math. After school is over, I hang out at EHTP, which is East Harlem Tutorial program and do my homework.
Hi, my name is Jacob. I go to the Abraham Joshua Hechel School. My favorite subject is english language arts. On Saturdays, I go to tutor my tutee, Malik "Cool Kid" Grant.
We decided to write a Jackie Robinson book after reading about him. First we researched information and pictures online, then we started writing. The author was Malik & the illustrator was Jacob. It was very hard and a lot of work, but in the end we had fun. We decided that Jackie Robinson was a great baseball player & person.
